What Is LightSheer QUATTRO?

The Lumenis LightSheer QUATTRO is an advanced laser system designed to provide fast, effective, and comfortable reduction of unwanted hair.

With four specialized handpieces, treatments can be customized for different skin tones, hair types, and treatment areas—from smaller, delicate areas to larger areas such as the back and legs.

How Does LightSheer QUATTRO Work?

LightSheer QUATTRO uses diode laser technology to target pigment within the hair follicle. The laser delivers controlled energy that heats and damages the follicle, reducing its ability to produce new hair while protecting the surrounding skin.

The system’s four handpieces allow your provider to select the appropriate treatment method based on your skin tone, hair characteristics, and the size of the treatment area. Cooling and vacuum-assisted technology help improve comfort during treatment.

What to Expect During Treatment

During treatment, you may feel warmth, light pressure, or a brief snapping sensation. Comfort varies depending on the treatment area and individual sensitivity.

Treatment times vary based on the size of the area. Smaller areas may take only a few minutes, while larger areas require additional time.

Temporary redness, warmth, or mild swelling around the hair follicles is normal following treatment and typically subsides within several hours. Most clients can immediately return to their regular activities.

After Your LightSheer QUATTRO Treatment

Avoid tanning and unnecessary sun exposure before and after treatment. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen to treated areas exposed to the sun.

For the recommended period following treatment, avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, strenuous exercise, and products that may irritate the skin. Detailed pre- and post-treatment instructions will be reviewed with you during your consultation.

Laser Hair Removal Expectations

Because hair grows in different cycles, a series of treatments is needed for optimal hair reduction. Treatments are generally scheduled four to eight weeks apart, depending on the area being treated.

With each session, clients can expect a gradual reduction in hair growth and density. Individual results and the number of treatments needed will vary.

Laser hair removal works best as a series because hair grows in different cycles. Every new treatment area begins with six treatments. After completing the initial series, additional sessions for the same area may be purchased individually at the preferred series rate. Single and series pricing available.
