IPL Skin Brightening

Also known as an IPL Photofacial, this treatment helps create a clearer, brighter, and more even-looking complexion.

IPL Skin Brightening may improve the appearance of:

• Sun damage
• Brown spots and age spots
• Uneven pigmentation
• Dull or uneven skin tone
• Photoaged skin

Following treatment, pigmented spots may temporarily darken before gradually flaking or fading. A series of three treatments is commonly recommended for optimal results.

IPL Vascular Treatment

IPL Vascular Treatment uses controlled light energy to target unwanted redness and visible facial vessels.

This treatment may improve the appearance of:

• Facial redness
• Visible capillaries
• Broken blood vessels
• Vascular lesions
• Redness associated with rosacea

More than one treatment may be needed depending on the type and extent of the vascular concern.

IPL Acne Clearing

IPL Acne Clearing uses light energy to help reduce acne-causing bacteria, inflammation, redness, and excess oil.

This treatment may help improve:

• Active acne breakouts
• Acne-related inflammation
• Redness
• Excess oil production
• Overall skin clarity

A series of treatments is generally recommended. IPL Acne Clearing treats active acne but is not intended to correct deep or textured acne scars.

What to Expect

During treatment, you may feel a brief warm or snapping sensation. Temporary redness, warmth, or mild swelling may occur afterward and typically improves within several hours to a few days.

Pigmented spots may temporarily become darker before gradually fading. Vascular clients you may have some bruising. Most clients can return to their regular activities following treatment.

The number of treatments needed will depend on your skin concerns, treatment area, and individual response. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to help preserve your results.

Before Your Treatment

• A consultation and patch test are required at least one week before your first treatment.
• Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning before treatment.
• Do not use spray tan or self-tanner on the treatment area.
• Tell your provider about all medications, supplements, skincare products, and recent procedures.
• Arrive with clean skin and no makeup, lotion, or skincare products on the treatment area.

Additional preparation instructions will be provided during your consultation.

After Your Treatment

• Avoid direct sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher.
• Do not pick, scrub, or exfoliate darkened pigment.
• Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, and strenuous exercise as directed.
• Use gentle skincare products until the treated skin has returned to normal.
• Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your treatment provider.

Who May Not Be a Candidate?

IPL may not be appropriate for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, recently tanned, taking certain medications, using photosensitizing products, or who have certain medical or skin conditions.
